Over the years, I’ve come around to the opinion that religion and deity worship is a bunch of hooey.
Nevertheless, I would strongly consider daily genuflecting to some invisible pantheon if they were able to convince me that they’d have the power to bring back the Illinois State Commission.

Check it out, CMV! PSS - As far as not believing in religion, Diego Corleone had his Wisdom Teeth pulled. He has also found that he will not be able to appear. I made a little joke about it and made reference to his Wisdom Teeth and joked about it. Well, God has struck me in the mouth for it. All my Wisdom Teeth came in long ago except for 1. Never had any pain or problems. I cracked the joke about Diego on Friday. It is Monday, and I woke up this morning in horrible pain from that m-therf-ckin' last Wisdom Tooth staring at me right in the mirror! It's trying to bust thru the gum and the pain is truly flabbergasted! I would like to take this opportunity right now to publicly beg Diego for his forgiveness. I take it all back. ALL of it! Please - it's puffing up the entire right side of my mouth and I look like a f-cking dork when I'm taking my kids to school. Man! that's not god... I doubt god would care that u made fun of a chicago indy wrestler. |

One of the things I've never cared for in this business over the 16 years I've worked is the politics and over inflated egos of many of the people on the scene. What's more frightening to me is that the egos belong to guys working these small indy promotions, and many of them are backstage guys and ring announcers, not actual wrestlers. To those that may apply to, take it however you want.
I will be the referee on that show. I have stayed away from this thread because my main concern is to properly promote the show with listings on both my website & my MySpace. However, I can not stand by why certain elements of the scene attempt to denigrate the efforts of those who have put this show together. I am thrilled to get to work with friends, some of whom I haven't had the chance to work with in awhile, as well as the opportunity to work with a guy who is part of a national company that I feel is a rising star.
To attack those involved with the show and who they know or don't know by calling them liars just lowers you personally. I think I have a little more qualification to name call here as I am the business veteran on this board. If you don't respect anyone else involved in this show, you had best respect me & my decision to work it. After 16 years I call my own shots and I don't work with people I don't think are qualified and I don't work with people who feel they can sit around and call names, especially when they don't have the time in the business myself and a lot of the other guys involved putting the show together have. Pay your dues and earn your rights.
I am sorry that Diego will not be able to work due to his health. He's a class guy who understands respect and I always enjoy being in the ring with him.
I've spoken my peace, I hope those of you who can will come out to the show, I believe your time and effort in attending will be well rewarded.
