Jaysin Strife VS Jason Dukes VS TNA's Jay Lethal should be awesome. Dukes vs Lethal was a great match that was ruined at the end by Strife.

7pm Bell TimeThis show is dedicated to memory of one of our closest friends marking the 2nd anniversary of his passing Chris Candido, and will be an annual show in Chris's honor simply called " No Gimmicks Needed". This show we'll crown a new NWA Midwest Heavyweight Champion, and retire Chris's belt. The new champion will receive a brand new belt that Chris would have been proud to wear, and can be viewed in this thread as well as on our website & My Space page. Chris, as I, was a big Buddy Rogers mark, and the belt reflects the belt Rogers wore as the NWA World Champion. Knowing Chris as I did he'd have been just as thrilled to wear it as we would have been to have him hold it as our Champion. We hope to do a show Chris would be proud to have been on. Ahh no, Ricky isn't booked on this show. In fact many of the people we use regularly aren't on due to the semi-finals, and finals of the tournament. Only so many spots available on this show, and we couldn't use everyone.

Amazing Kong to meet MisChif on May 5th After the tapings for DVD's 9 & 10 last Saturday at the Shimmer show there was a challenge issued to MisChif by the Amazing Kong for Chif to defend her NWA World Title. Kong holds the AWA World Womens title, and basically said that she would put her title on the line against MisChif is MsChif would put her NWA World title up against Kong. Kong feels that since she defeated MisChif earlier that night at Shimmer that she should be considered a number 1 contender for MisChif's NWA World Title which is a valid point. After speaking with our NWA Executive Director, Bob Trobich, and NWA Midwest Commissioner Terry Taylor we've made the match. On May 5th it will be the Amazing Kong VS MsChif in a "Title for Title" Match for the AWA & NWA World Titles. |
