Old PCW days kind of sucked at some points, but as I've said before...they are far far better now...even WITH Tobi there Ouch!

Powerhouse shows are good shows. I agree with Tobi about catering to his audience. The match I looked most forward to on his last card got little or no reaction from the crowd. I love the fact I can go to more than one wrestling show a month now and they're good. Nothing blows me away, but I have to say that the Powerhouse shows are consistently good and I have never walked away disappointed. The worse I can say about the fed is that the wrestling can be mediocre in the most awesome way possible. Sometimes nothing spectactular happens, but it's always good, solid wrestling with an emphasis on telling a story rather than popping the crowd. The cruiser show was great and the cage match I saw was a lot of fun. Shows are ran smoothly . I don't know if it is a conscience effort, but I certainly appreciate Powerhouse shows not being scheduled on the same day as other shows in Central IL. Thanks for the kind words - even the "mediocre in the most awesome way possible" part. ;D

Someone mentioned that it's close to them and they might go. Heck, it's a long drive for me and I'll be there. I'm just glad that the show is in the afternoon. As to the quality of Powerhouse shows, to each his own. I know that I enjoy their product--yes, even with Tobi. That's why I return. Starman has spoken.

From the Powerhouse Myspace....
We are sorry to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control the show this Saturday at Lincoln College has been cancelled. We look forward to performing for the great wrestling fans in Lincoln once again very very soon. If you bought tickets in advance you can return them to the vendor for a full refund.

I received a myspace message from Powerhouse management to let me know that the show has been cancelled. While I'm sorry that the show isn't going to take place, I do appreciate the fact that they thought of me, a fan, and let me know about the cancellation to save me approx. 6 hours on the road. Thanks, Powerhouse.
Starman has spoken.

Alright men, that'll be enough.
Settle your beef in private via PM or email. If you insist on making it a public spectacle, kindly take it to another part of the web.
Now go outside and enjoy all that Springtime in the Midwest has to offer.
