finally pro wrestling coming closer to dekalb I always thought DeKalb could be a good wrestling market if promoted right. Besides sports and the occassional gang shooting, there's not much else to do in DeKalb. If you had an event with Brad Bradley, his frat boys would have been there in force. Sorry I went off topic. |

I guess that a movement of indy wrestling is heading towards the Sauk Valley. Very interesting. I don't see anything else on my schedule that day. I might just take the drive over there.

Well, techincally, Dixon is a college town (Sauk Valley Community College). I would not suggest anyone to apply there, they have a history of messing up students' credits. No offense to anyone here who goes there. The teachers are great, just the counsellors are not the brightest.

Nah Dixon would exist without that crappy small college. When I say college town I mean when half the population leaves for the summer.

See the only thing Dixon has going for it is that Reagan grew up there. That and Sauk. That's it.

Why? Is De Kalb an urban hermit town where people just sit every evening in their living rooms doing nothing every evening?

College towns don't draw. About 2-3 weeks ago 3\4 of Dekalbs population left for the summer.
