Nope. The town was flyered and pretty well advertised, and this was just an added promotional tool, seeing as how I was just passing the word along.
I'll be there.

I figured that since there ARE people on this board working this show that SOMEONE would be nice enough to MAYBE post up SOME kind of match info. Guess that's asking too much.

I don't think TALON did anything that any other potential customer wouldn't do; ask what he would get for his money.
While it's great that the company decided to use this forum to promote their show, a little follow up info (like match listings) might give fans more of an incentive to get off the couch and drop ten bucks on a wrestling show.

Thanks Chris...the point I was trying to make is how do you all expect to draw any other crowd than local? I mean it's great that someone went out & actually put flyers UP for this event. Hell, maybe you guys will draw well. Maybe you guys will have a great card. But if you post up that there is a show on here...at least give us something besides the date, venue, & time.
Seriously, best of luck tonight. I'd be there, but for one: it brings back bad memories. 2) the drive (sorry for repeating) & 3) family medical issues

Note to all: Just because you don't post matches on this message board, doesn't mean that it will sell. Hell, I've seen a show post EVERY MATCH ON THE CARD and pull 20. Granted, this message board is great, but to bash us for information we didn't have = not cool. I'm not the promoter of this show, and I didn't know what was going on other than what he told me.
There. That's as negative as it gets. It's okay just to be a wrestling show sometimes. If you put wrestling on the marquee of a building, people are led to check it out. You never see match listings on a marquee, do you?
