AAW “Rise of the Machine Guns” is in the books. Here are the results.
Pre show:
Hardcore Craig, Steve Stone, Tony Rican, Jordan Mcintyre, and Cadillac Jones d. Derek St. Holmes, Knight Wagner, Hunter Matthews, Bonebreaker Brooks and Kris Hybrid
*Show opened with a promo from Joey Eastman and The Phoenix Twins. Eastman promised we would see a new violent side of Dweek and Dash in the TLC match later on.
Jimmy Jacobs d. Dan Lawrence
Jacobs said he is known for “building armys” and offered Lawrence a spot in his stable. Lawrence responded with a right hand and the match was on. Ryan Boz came to ringside midway through the match to cheer on his partner. After Jacobs picked up the win with a top rope senton Boz entered the ring and attacked Lawrence, joining Jimmy Jacobs.
"Skullkrusher" Rasche Brown d. Brandon Blaze w/ Joey Eastman
Bryce Benjamin and Shane Hollister came to ringside distracting Blaze and Eastman allowing Rasche to hit a spear for the win.
*Promo from Dave Prazak saying Trik Davis and CK3 lost the tag titles to Sabin/Shelley in a fluke and after they win the 4 corner tag match they want a title shot.
Michigan Invasion d. Absolute Answer, Tyme Paige/Charlie Manson Jr , DP Associates in a 4 corner tag match
* Promo with Christian York in the lockeroom trying on Joey Mercury’s robe and sunglasses saying “I could have pulled off this gimmick no problem”. Mercury entered and told York to get focused on the Murder City Machine Guns and he expected his robe to be back in his locker.
Krotch w/ Nikki d. Silas Young
Young controlled much of the match until Krotch got the win with a roll up to the surprise of everyone. Silas was shocked.
The Murder City Machine Guns d. Christian York and Joey Mercury to retain the AAW Tag Team Titles
Mercury claimed he had wrestled on more continents and made more money than Sabin and Shelley ever would and that he was a professional “sports entertainer”. Shelley responded that while all that was true he did something else the Machine Guns never did and that is get fired! After nearly a half hour of action The MCMG got the win when Sabin pinned York.
* After intermission Chandler McClure came to the ring in a sling and a neck brace walking with a cane. He told the fans to look under their seats where there was a legal document he wanted them to fill out stating that they are all responsible for the injuries he suffered in the Fans Bring the Weapons match at the last show. The fans responded by bombarding Chandler with the papers.
Arik Cannon d. Danny Daniels
Cannon had the Northstar Express with him at ringside until referee Brian Gorie ejected them. Daniels was going for a piledriver when Tyler Black hit the ring allowing Cannon to get the win with the Glimmering Warlock.
Eric Priest and “MDogg20” Matt Cross d. The Northstar Express
Priest and Mdogg got the win after an FU69 from Priest and a Shooting Star Press from Mdogg on Darrin Corbin.
Tyler Black d. Austin Aries
The fans exploded as Aries came to the ring for his AAW debut and were on the edge of their seats the entire match. Throughout the match Aries tried to hit a brainbuster and in the end Black was able to reverse the position and hit a small package driver for the 1,2,3.
* Promo from Josh Abercrombie where he claimed he was not coming to AAW to be a mid card wrestler and he was coming to make an immediate impact. He will be in action on 10/20.
"Adrenaline Overdose" Bryce Bemjamin/Shane Holister d. The Phoenix Twins w/ Joey Eastman in a TLC match.
An absolutely wild and violent match. Bryce Benjamin was a bloody mess. He nailed Eastman with a chair after the match, finally getting his revenge and Eastman was also bleeding badly.
Thanks to all who came out. Another hot crowd in Berwyn tonight.
